Manage
your Vsystem network from a single location. Vczar
consists of a number of server applications running on various Vsystem nodes throughout a network. Each of these server
applications acts as a server for its local node and acts as the client for
requests from remote nodes. Any node on the network can control databases and
applications connected to databases either on its local node or on other
remote Vsystem nodes. Thus, Vczar
allows a single node to control applications and databases throughout a Vsystem network.
Vczar can be used to list databases and
processes connected to databases, and determine their current status. Vczar can be used to map and unmap
and run down local and remote databases. It can also be used to reconnect or
disconnect running processes that are interacting with these databases.
Vsystem applications have the means to
utilize this powerful network management tool. Vczar
provides Vsystem users with a convenient and robust
method of managing their network applications.
